I am not on Twitter since I was permanently banned by the masters of the universe. After they banned my ( @C_NyakundiH) Account, I opened an account @AtGuru001, Which was banned for ” Attempting to evade Permanent suspension”
Back in 2012, 2013 we strived hard to make Twitter active. Rem when Twitter didn’t have hashtags and we had to put pressure on them to put Kenya to the trends.
In fact, I as Cyprian Nyakundi never changed the way I was tweeting, I kept it 100%. So what changed? What made my posts illegal to warrant a permanent suspension? Nothing…It is Just censorship.
I became a target of corporates and cartels that I had been exposing.
When Twitter officials came to Kenya, they met with Safaricom officials and Scangroup agency, the same cartels that we have been fighting. So you guess what they discussed.
Then how could they know Nyakundi opened another account called Guru00? It means as Nyakundi, I was being monitored and I regret opening the second account.
I’ll never be on Twitter again because of the shenanigans
A recent report indicates that Twitter now has less than 500K active monthly users, a drop from 1.2 Million a while ago due to censorship.
The truth is that Kenyans must build their independent platforms where they can talk freely without censorship and their accounts being locked/suspended over nothing.
Some people said that social media had killed forums but that is not true, forums will rise again as people realize that giving your views without being silenced is golden.
