A lady in South Africa that used to work as a cleaner has graduated with a PhD after working her way up.

Constance Matshidiso Lelaka graduated in her doctorate studies after completing her course in January 2019.
Just over two decades ago, Lelaka served tables and swept the floor working as a waitress and cleaner of the Sandton city’s garden court in south Africa.
Lelaka started working in the hotel after her mother, a domestic worker, encouraged her to work and save money to further her studies.
It is reported the 43 year old is now working as a social scientists researcher at the Wits Reproductive Health and HIV institute.
